Steven Adams is interesting.
“No English, bro.”

Watching the Warriors play the Rockets, my kid and I got curious about Steven Adams. He's that Center for the Rockets who kinda looks like Khal Drogo.

Anyways. Here are some things my kid and I have learned about Steven Adams:
- Steven Adams was born in New Zealand in 1993, and his full name is "Steven Funaki Paea He Ofa Ki Loa Adams." Which is a very cool name.
- In the U.S., the top-grossing movie that day was Jurassic Park (1993). In the U.S, alone, Jurassic Park made $1,917,750 (USD) on the day Steven was born.
- Steven Adams is very tall. Specifically, Steven Adams is 6′11″ tall. Making him the second-tallest person on my Celebrity Heights list—right after Guinness World Record holder, Robert Pershing Wadlow.

- Steven's father was a Royal Navy officer who fathered 18 (eighteen) children via five different women. That averages to 3.6 children per woman. Suggesting Steven's father really knew how to take it to the paint.
- Steven is (currently anyway) the youngest of those eighteen children.
- Two of his half-sisters are elite shot-putters; one scored gold in the Olympics and the other at the Paralympics.
- The height of his brothers averages out to 6′9″; Steven's sisters slot in at a nice, round mean of 6′0″.
- In his first season, whenever Kevin Garnett from the Nets tried to trash talk him, Steven would act like he didn't speak English.
- Steven's favorite cut of meat is the tomahawk steak. Which is a big-ass carve of beef.

If or as I learn more things about the basketball player, Steven Adams, I will share it with you here.
